The Massachusetts Taskforce to End Loneliness & Build Community will host a free, virtual summit on Good Neighbor Day - Thursday, September 28th. The taskforce consists of more than 40 statewide organizations, nonprofits, state & city-level governments, and more; all defined by their commitment to end loneliness throughout Massachusetts. The goal of the summit is to connect people to their community and end social isolation, especially within the Commonwealth’s aging population. This year's theme is “Let's Talk, Massachusetts: Embracing Conversations to Build Community” is a call to action to create spaces and opportunity in our communities for us to listen to, learn from, connect to, and honor all residents. By doing so, we renew our social contract to be a good neighbor, helping ensure all Massachusetts residents enjoy stronger social health.
