Areas of Interest for Volunteers
Basic tech support & assistance includes: computer, email, Internet, TV/VCR, Cellphone
Driver to/from doctors, groceries, library, post office, events, classes, etc.
Friendly mentor for new members; visits, information, referrals, etc.
Friendly Visitor, companionship including home visits, calls, walks & other activities
Help handle personal needs including finance & banking, insurance, some legal questions
Home Assistance - snow shoveling, garage cleanup, garbage pickup, organizing, etc.
Home Repairs - Minor home repairs and other work needed inside/outside the home
Landscape/Gardening including suggestions for how to manage.
Launch Group of Volunteers
Pet Care including walk the dog, take for bathing, pet sitting.
Phone Check In: Daily or frequent calls to individuals to check on their status.
Reading Aloud to someone with limited sight or visual impairment
Villages Committee Member: serve on one of the committees of the Board
Villages office assistance including phone or email responses, data input, other office tasks
